If six companies control all the media we’re seeing
(Figuring out the minutia of Hollywood economics)
If it costs upwards of 20 million dollars just to launch a film domestically
(Distribution, exhibition, production)
How is anyone supposed to make a movie?
And then I had an idea!
And today I’m here with filmmaker Jessica Mae Stover. Thanks for being with us, Jessica!

If we could make a film that was pure for once
Can you explain exactly what you’re doing online?
When you’re breaking new ground you can’t just be like, “Oh it’s like this other thing someone’s doing”
Because it’s not like it anything
No one’s ever done it
We love movies so much
I like movies
I want better movies
Please, Hollywood, please: stop churning out crap
Hollywood doesn’t make movies anymore; they make licensing platforms
Moviemaking is an art
Storytelling belongs to the people
I want to be there at the beginning of something big
Finding a new way to produce, distribute and exhibit film
Wow, people are here; everyone’s in the same place; everyone’s come out finally; this little thing—suddenly everyone is a part of

Because it’s arts and entertainment; not one without the other
Because I want a better theater experience
